“This place saved my life.”

A sense of belonging that turns lives around

Our mission is to give our homeless guests safe shelter, and support that’s right for them

At The Shelter MK, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home, even when life takes an unexpected turn. We go out of our way to be that safe space for people experiencing homelessness in Milton Keynes, and their beloved dogs. Listening, without judgement, and staying right by our guests’ side with practical and emotional support, until they’re ready to move on – and beyond.

Previously The Bus Shelter MK, we have been offering 21 beds at George House in Stantonbury and our move on houses, as well as helping people build their independence – since we parked our double-decker bus in 2021.

“I have a front door,
I can cook.
I feel like a King.”
