We listen to every personal story, without judgement and give our guests their own space and the things they need to rest and feel safe, so they can reset. Our experienced team takes the time to treat every guest as an individual. Each one has their own support worker who offers a friendly ear and helps them figure out what’s next.

Then a key to their own front door, clean clothes for our guests to step into, brand new bedding to sleep under and their own toiletries. We’re very fortunate to have a wealth of support from organisations and businesses in Milton Keynes. From window cleaners and sanitary bin collectors to providers of recycled laptops and bikes to help guests as they find work.
We need your help so we can give our guests the support they need to get back on their feet and take steps towards turning their lives around.
If you’re currently experiencing homelessness and need help, or you’d like to refer another person to The Shelter MK, reach out to us here.
We welcome volunteers with a wide range of backgrounds, especially if you’re interested in cooking hot meals for our guests.
